Breathe Easy Week / Clean Air Day
Breathe Easy Week, from 17-23 June, is the British Lung Foundation's annual event focusing on lung health. It aims to raise awareness of lung conditions. Why not check out the health of your lungs by taking the quick online Breath Test?
Clean Air Day on 20 June aims to raise awareness of air pollution and how we can all help to make the air cleaner and healthier for everyone. Why not get involved? You can sign up for free toolkits to help organise community, school, workplace, and no-idling events. Businesses can join the ‘Clean Van Commitment’ too. Or you could make a pledge to use public transport, cycle or walk instead of driving to work on Clean Air Day. If you would like to become part of the Walking Nation, check out the Living Streets projects.
Whatever you choose, get involved in Breathe Easy Week now and Clean Air Day on 20 June, for what could be the start of your long term commitment to reducing air pollution.
