Introduction to Group Exercise

Our Introduction to Group Exercise course is the perfect way to explore a variety of beginner-friendly classes in a supportive and welcoming environment. This course is aimed for people who aren't already active, guiding and supporting individuals through their first steps to getting active whilst showcasing what is available at Henfield Leisure centre.

Over 10 weeks, you’ll try out five different types of exercise designed to help you build confidence, improve fitness and have fun:

  • Group Cycling – Low-impact cardio that’s great for heart health and stamina.
  • Circuits – A mix of strength and aerobic exercises to get your whole body moving.
  • Boxercise – A fun, energetic workout inspired by boxing techniques.
  • Stretch & Tone – Gentle movements to improve flexibility and muscle tone.
  • Legs, Bums & Tums – A classic class to strengthen and shape key areas.

Each class is tailored for beginners, with friendly instructors who will guide you through every step and can be tailored to suit individual needs.

All you need is a water bottle, comfortable clothing and a willingness to give it a go!
