Do you feel you are overweight?

Have you been putting on the pounds recently?

Are you ready to create healthier habits?

We run a number of different courses aimed at helping you achieve your goals.

Each 12-week course offers the following:

  • Weekly sessions lasting around 45–90 mins depending on which course you opt for
  • Small groups for maximum support and motivation
  • Nutritional advice based on the Eatwell Guide
  • Private weekly weigh-ins, nutrition and activity reviews, along with individual goal setting
  • WOW toolkit including course manual, BHF Eat Well Guide, Weight Tracker Card and an exercise resistance band
  • Access to our ‘Get Active’ courses if appropriate

 

If you are:

  • Ready to make small sustainable changes every week focussing on nutrition and exercise
  • Able to commit to attending a minimum of 9 out of 12 sessions
  • Willing to complete all evaluation paperwork

Then WOW is for you!

 

Virtual WOW   

  • 12-week online course via a video platform for groups of 5 people        
  • Daytime and evening courses
  • 60-90 mins

WOW over the phone    

  • 1-2-1 support over the phone for 12 weeks    
  • Daytime and evening appointments
  • 45-60 mins

  • Daytime and evening courses
  • 1hr 30 mins

  • Face to face group course (12 weeks) for up to 14 people with an introduction to exercise*
  • Daytime and evening courses
  • 1hr 45 mins
  • *WoW Plus includes gentle circuit-based exercise which can be tailored to suit your individual needs. Low impact and chair-based options available. Taking part is optional.
