Need help with Digital TV?
If you are older or disabled, and television is an important part of your home life, you can get assistance with the switchover to digital TV in your area, which will be happening soon.
The Switchover Help Scheme is run by the BBC to help older and disabled people make the change to digital TV. The scheme includes:
- easy to use equipment
- an approved installer to supply and install the necessary equipment
- a 12 month aftercare service including a free helpline.
People aged 75 and over or with certain disabilities are eligible. Most people will be asked to pay £40 towards the standard option of help, however, the whole service is free for people on certain income related benefits.
